The go-home show of SmackDown will air live from Ohio!

The wait for WWE fans is over as the promotion is ready to usher in the ESPN era with the Wrestlepalooza PLE. However, first, the promotion will deliver the go-home show of Friday Night SmackDown, which will feature the final face-offs ahead of Saturday.

The September 19 episode of SmackDown is set to air live from the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. Multiple big names, including Brock Lesnar, Tiffany Stratton, Randy Orton, Jade Cargill, and Jacob Fatu, are being advertised for the show.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes set to appear

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes made his return in the final moments of last week’s show. Rhodes returned to settle the score with Drew McIntyre while saving Randy Orton. Rhodes then challenged McIntyre for a title clash at the upcoming Wrestlepalooza.

The promotion has made the match official for Saturday, and ahead of the title defense, Rhodes is set to make an appearance on the go-home show.

Two weeks ago, Sami Zayn launched the “Sami Zayn U.S. Open Challenge,” offering anyone the chance to challenge him for the United States Title. In his first title defense, he battled John Cena, and last week defeated Rey Fenix in a thrilling matchup.

This week, Zayn faces Carmelo Hayes. Melo, who managed to convince GM Nick Aldis for the match last week, despite his tag partner, The Miz, advocating for a tag title shot against the Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis).
