The 11/22 episode of the Blue Brand will see Cody Rhodes face-to-face against Kevin Owens
The November 22 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown will be broadcast live from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, the home of the Utah Jazz. This episode promises to build on the dramatic developments from last week and deliver exciting matches and segments for fans of the Blue Brand.
Last week in Wisconsin, Cody Rhodes, The American Nightmare, kicked off the show with a fiery promo. Rhodes directly addressed Kevin Owens, accusing him of crossing the line and demanding Owens show up in the arena.
However, Kevin Owens was barred from the venue. Later, a video aired featuring Owens revealed that WWE SmackDown GM Nick Aldis had personally invited him to appear on the November 22 episode in Salt Lake City. This week, the tension comes to a head as the Undisputed WWE Champion is set to face The Prizefighter.
Additionally, WWE introduced the Women’s United States Championship in the company’s history, announcing a tournament to crown the inaugural champion.
On the November 15 episode of WWE SmackDown, Bayley triumphed in a triple-threat match against Candice LeRae and B-Fab to advance to the tournament’s semi-finals.
The tournament continues this week with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair taking on Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport in another first-round match, with the winner moving forward to the semi-finals.
