WWE star Logan Paul issues sarcasm laden apology to Tom Brady after Fanatics Flag Football Classic

The two stars have been trading shots for a while.

Despite being caught up in a major feud alongside his Vision faction, Logan Paul took a break from the action to try his hand at a different sport, competing in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

The game featured several top names from the sports and entertainment world, including NFL stars such as Tom Brady and Jalen Hurts, multi-weight boxing champion Terence Crawford, and YouTube star IShowSpeed, among others.

In the lead-up to the game, Paul and Brady traded shots, leading many to believe that the two would end up facing each other in a match at the upcoming WrestleMania 42. Brady even called WWE cute, stating football is real competition, hinting at the scripted nature of WWE.

“I love WWE. It’s very cute. But honestly, this is like real football. This is real competition,”  Brady said.

However, Paul made his presence known on the field, even taking down Philadelphia Eagles star Jalen Hurts for a sack and consistently challenging Brady throughout the game. Although the legendary quarterback still showcased the skill despite his age, proving that he can still hang with the best. The banter between the two also played out during the game.

Logan Paul’s ‘apology’

After the game, Logan Paul took his X handle to issue a sarcasm-laden apology to Tom Brady and Jalen Hurts. Paul apologized to Hurts for sacking him, and joked that he might get traded or cut because of the play.

“I’d like to apologize to Jalen Hurts for sacking you and later deflecting a pass that then got intercepted by my team, allowing us to score on the very next possession. If you get traded or your contract gets cut down, now we know why, and it’s probably pretty embarrassing,”

The WWE star also ‘apologized’ to Brady for applying pressure, so much so that the seven-time Super Bowl champion was fearing for his life. Logan continues the trash talk, calling Brady ‘old,’ and mocking critics who doubted his athletic ability.

“So I am sorry. And of course, I’d like to apologize to Tom Brady for applying so much pressure on you play after play after play that had you literally fearing for your life. I understand you’re older, It’s not like you could go anywhere and you got frustrated, which is why you threw the ball at me. And I want you to know that I forgive you for that because that’s what real men do.

And lastly, I want to apologize to everyone that said that I was not a great athlete because you all look stupid as hell right now. Thank you.”

Fans are now waiting for Brady’s response to the ‘apology,’ and we might get the two stars settling things inside the squared circle at the ‘Grandest Stage.’
