These stars have had sporadic appearances in 2025.

WWE has concluded its PLE schedule as 2025 comes to a close, with many stars receiving well-deserved pushes and others partaking in memorable matches.

The year also featured John Cena’s farewell tour, which began in January at Raw, his Netflix debut, and concluded with his final match at the December 13 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. The year also saw NXT stars promoted to the main roster, and some even captured titles on the main roster, including a World title.

However, there are other stars who, despite being active and injury-free, were not properly booked in good feuds and only made sporadic appearances due to poor Creative plans. Here are the top five WWE stars who should get more TV time in 2026.

5. The Creed Brothers

The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) are incredible in-ring performers and have delivered amazing matches. Since Chad Gable’s injury, while Ivy Nile has been somewhat featured and has had matches, the Creed Brothers, on the other hand, have not just disappeared from TV.

Their last televised match on the main roster was in June. The Creed Brothers can be a great addition to Raw’s Tag Team, which the WWE has started to re-focus on since AJ Styles & Dragon Lee’s title reign and the recent Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) reunion.

4. Natalya

Future WWE Hall of Famer Natalya, despite being a veteran of the game, has been one of the most poorly booked stars on the main roster. Her ‘Nattie’ persona, which is a “low-key legend” gimmick, showcased in promotions like GCW’s Bloodsport, has become a fan favorite.

On the other hand, she has not had any memorable feuds this year, and her last match on the main roster was in August against Becky Lynch for the Women’s IC title. Apart from this, she has only had a handful of matches, with three of them being multi-person matches. WWE can introduce the Nattie character that has been teased in recent promos with Maxxine Dupri and give the legend a memorable feud in 2026.

3. Carmelo Hayes

Unlike the previous two stars, Carmelo Hayes has been featured in multiple matches this year. However, WWE failed to use his momentum among fans properly, and multiple back-to-back losses have also spoiled his trajectory.

Add to that an uninteresting feud with The Miz left many fans disappointed for Hayes, who bounced back with an amazing match against Gunther. Despite the loss against Gunther, Hayes impressed everyone and should be given more TV time next year.

2. Randy Orton

‘The Viper’ Randy Orton has likely a few years left before he, too, like his former peers, decides to hang up his wrestling boots. Orton’s poor booking has irked fans who were also vocally critical of him, not even being present during John Cena’s farewell last Saturday.

WWE teasing Orton’s heel turns since forever is another point of frustration for fans, who want the promotion to bring back ‘Vintage Orton,’ who they love. A forever-teased heel turn is among many potential ideas for Orton in 2026.

1. Giulia

Similar to her former NXT counterpart Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia too had a lot of hype during her main roster promotion. WWE even decided to put the Women’s United States title on her, when she defeated Zelina Vega. However, that was the start of the downfall as Giulia only had two title defenses in a title reign that spans 133 days.

Although, she needs to work on her on-mic skills, her in-ring skills is parallell to few. The promotion should give her more TV time and book her in good storylines, obviusly this will be after they fix SmackDown and brings up talents from the main roster to fill the hollow roster.

What is the next PLE from WWE?

Royal Rumble 2026 is the next main roster PLE and is set to emanate from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

When will Randy Orton make his WWE return?

Orton has been absent from WWE programming since October and while he was advertised for SmackDown after Survivor Series, he is yet to make his return.
