Many top WWE wrestlers lost their lives at an early age.

The hardcore business of professional wrestling has often taken a toll on many aspirants. At the same time, it has pushed many superstars to the brink of overuse of steroids, enhancers, and drug abuse.

This, along with tragic and unfortunate incidents, has led to many wrestlers losing their lives at an early age. Here are the five WWE superstars who died young:

5. Chyna

Chyna has been regarded as a pioneer of women’s wrestling. The Ninth Wonder of the World defied the odds, showed exceptional power and strength, and planted the early seeds of the Women’s Revolution.

Unfortunately, the world lost Chyna in 2016 as a result of an accidental drug overdose in her apartment, departing the world at 46.

4. Chris Benoit

The legacy of Chris Benoit ended tragically. He has become one of the most gifted in-ring competitors in the world; however, it has come at the cost of his physical and mental health. Benoit committed the murders of his wife and son and then took his own life in their own home in 2007, dying at the age of 40.

3. Owen Hart

Owen Hart’s impressive career and happy life ended in one of the saddest tragedies. The Hart Family member died at 34 during the live broadcast of WWE Over the Edge PPV in 1999.

Owen was making his entrance from the rafters and fell straight into the ring after a technical malfunction, which has been called one of the biggest dark days in professional wrestling.

2. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt was considered one of the most creative and captivating figures in WWE’s modern era. However, he was taken off television in early 2023 due to health issues. Triple H broke the unfortunate news of Wyatt’s death due to a heart attack in August 2023, leaving for his heavenly abode at 36.

1. Eddie Guerrero

Eddie Guerrero was one of the most influential figures in WWE history. He was in the prime of his run in the Stamford-based promotion when tragedy struck.

Guerrero, aged 38, was found dead in his hotel room in Minneapolis by his nephew, Chavo Guerrero, and it came as a huge shock to the professional wrestling world.
