The final PLE of 2025 will emanate from San Diego.
WWE is heading towards San Diego, California, for its final Premium Live Event of 2025, Survivor Series. The annual PLE will take place under the WarGames banner once again and will feature the marquee men’s and women’s WarGames match.
The event is set for November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California, and will feature multiple big names from the Raw and SmackDown. However, multiple stars who are off television due to different reasons might miss the final PLE of the year.
As the PLE inches closer, let us take a look at five such WWE Superstars who are likely going to miss Survivor Series: WarGames 2025.
5. Randy Orton

‘The Viper’ Randy Orton has been absent from WWE programming since the October 3 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where he backed up Cody Rhodes against The Vision. Notably, this was Orton’s appearance in a long time as he has only made a handful of appearances since SummerSlam.
Orton’s absence is not due to any injury; the Viper’s sporadic appearances are likely due to the lack of creative plans for him. It seems highly unlikely that WWE will decide to put him in the WarGames match, and a potential heel turn might be saved for next year.

4. Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan has been absent from WWE programming since June due to an injury. According to a recent report, WWE internally expects Morgan to be cleared for in-ring competition by early 2026, though there’s optimism she could make her return even earlier if her recovery keeps advancing positively.
Morgan’s return timeline will likely be planned according to the Royal Rumble PLE, which generally features multiple jaw-dropping returns. Additionally, ahead of her return, WWE would also likely intensify the storyline between Dominik Mysterio and Roxanne Perez.
3. Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair has been significantly absent from WWE programming since WrestleMania 41. Except for a few sporadic appearances, Belair has mostly been absent from WWE programming and has yet to make her in-ring return.
Similar to Morgan’s return, reports indicate Belair has faced a challenging recovery process. However, there’s optimism within WWE that she’ll return in the early part of 2026. This means Belair, too, will miss the final PLE of 2025.
2. Jacob Fatu
Jacob Fatu was written off TV during the October 17 episode of SmackDown before his number one contender’s match for the Undisputed WWE title against Drew McIntyre.
While reports point to his return during the Survivor Series weekend, WWE might hold off his return until after the PLE to unravel the mysterious opponent. There is a possibility of Fatu returning at the PLE, revealing the assailant who attacked him, similar to Jade Cargill’s return during Elimination Chamber 2025.
1. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has been stripped of the World Heavyweight title and is currently written off TV due to a shoulder injury he sustained during his Crown Jewel title match against Cody Rhodes. Although there is no clear timeline for his return, many speculate that his absence will continue until WrestleMania 42.
However, one thing is clear that the original plan of his involvement in the men’s WarGames this year has been scrapped due to his injury, and Rollins will likely remain off TV during his recovery.
