SummerSlam is one of the biggest pay-per-views in the industry
SummerSlam is one of the biggest annual pro-wrestling events hosted by WWE since 1988. SummerSlam is the second biggest event of WWE and is one of the five biggest events of the year including WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and Money in the Bank. WWE dubbed it the “Biggest Party of the Summer” and it is the biggest pro-wrestling event of the summer.
WWE has held a total of 36 SummerSlam events and this year marks the 37th event. Here we take a look at all the WWE SummerSlam main events to date & the list of winners in history.

This year WWE will host the 37th edition of WWE SummerSlam on August 3, 2024, from the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. WWE has announced the 2026 SummerSlam 2026 venue has already and it will make the historical two-night SummerSlam pay-per-view on August 1 & August 2, 2026, from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
