Jade Cargill will battle Tiffany Stratton at Night of Champions.

Former WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill, after coming up short in her attempt to regain the title, has now shifted her focus to the Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton. The two are set to battle for the US title at Night of Champions 2026.

The match itself will create history, but Cargill is determined to use the numbers game to her advantage, utilizing Michin and B-Fab in a way that helps her win the title. Now, all these are just speculations, but there’s a recent report revealing the plans for Cargill in the lead-up to SummerSlam 2026.

According to a recent report from TRNBCKL Gold, sources revealed that WWE’s current plan is to build toward a match between Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam.

The seeds of this feud were planted when Flair and her tag partner, Alexa Bliss, joined Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley to take on Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab. Flair even aided Rhea in her title defense at Clash in Italy, thwarting interferences from Michin and B-Fab.

The feud has taken a brutal turn, as Cargill and her allies attacked Flair backstage on last week’s SmackDown ahead of the 2026 Queen of the Ring semifinal. The assault left Flair with an injury to her left leg, which played a role in her subsequent loss to Liv Morgan in the tournament match.

It remains to be seen how the match is set up and if the promotion ends up pivoting as SummerSlam approaches. Earlier reports also suggested that Creative has internally pitched the idea of booking the two at SummerSlam.

The 39th annual edition of SummerSlam is set to take place as a two-night spectacle on August 1 and 2, 2026, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, there have been discussions regarding additional merchandise and crossover opportunities for Danhausen and the Knicks. However, the report didn’t reveal any specific details.

The report further noted that Danhausen is expected to attract significant interest at Fanatics Fest, scheduled to take place at the Javits Center in New York City from July 16–19.
