One of the most unpredictable matches at WWE SummerSlam 2026 delivered exactly the kind of chaos fans expected, as Danhausen defeated Dominik Mysterio in the bizarre Human Monies on a Pole Match.
The contest featured outside interference, comedic moments and high-risk action, with JD McDonagh, the MiniHausens and Joe Hendry all influencing the outcome before Danhausen climbed the pole to secure the bag of money.
After surviving multiple obstacles and a dramatic final exchange, Danhausen walked away victorious in one of the night’s most entertaining spectacles.
Dominik Mysterio controls the early stages
Dominik Mysterio wasted little time taking control after the opening bell. He backed Danhausen into the corner with a series of right hands before connecting with a dropkick that left his opponent draped across the middle rope.
Dominik immediately looked for the 619, but Danhausen anticipated it and rolled clear before countering with a suplex. Momentum shifted several times during the opening minutes.
Danhausen followed with a clothesline, but Dominik avoided a second attempt and answered with one of his own. The Judgment Day star climbed onto the ropes looking to increase the pressure, only for Danhausen to pull him back to the mat.
Dominik responded by delivering consecutive suplexes and attempted a third, but Danhausen escaped, landed on his feet and planted him with a reverse DDT to regain control.
Outside interference changes everything
As Danhausen climbed to the second rope, JD McDonagh stormed to the ringside and immediately inserted himself into the match.
McDonagh pulled Danhausen down before unloading with punches and connecting with an impressive moonsault from the top rope. His interference appeared to hand Dominik a clear advantage until the arrival of the MiniHausens.
The pint-sized allies rushed the ring and attacked McDonagh with a flurry of punches. JD quickly fought back, dropping them with heavy strikes before delivering a body slam and even a chokeslam. The MiniHausens refused to stay down.
One answered with a leg-scissors takedown before following up with a springboard clothesline and a tornado DDT that finally sent McDonagh crashing to the floor.
Another MiniHausen attempted to climb toward the suspended prize, but Dominik intercepted him and threw him to the ringside. Moments later, another MiniHausen launched a hurricanrana that sent Dominik tumbling to the outside before following it with a spectacular suicide dive.
The chaos escalated further as McDonagh returned to the ring, headbutting Danhausen before tossing him outside. He then hurled one of the MiniHausens into the barricade in an effort to eliminate the distractions. Just when it seemed JD had restored order, Joe Hendry made a surprise appearance.
Armed with a guitar, Hendry blasted McDonagh with a thunderous shot that neutralized The Judgment Day member and brought the crowd to its feet.
With McDonagh out of the picture, Danhausen and Dominik raced toward the suspended bag. Dominik climbed first and reached the prize, but before he could retrieve it, Danhausen cursed him. At that exact moment, pyro exploded beside Dominik, startling him and sending him crashing back to the mat.
Danhausen seized the opening, climbed the pole, and successfully grabbed the bag of money to secure a memorable victory on Night 2 of WWE SummerSlam.
