Some current WWE champions might drop their titles before 2024 ends.

The current landscape of WWE has some of the top-tier and credible champions holding all the prestigious gold. Their title reigns began to a spectacular start, some of them at the biggest stages while others in some historic fashions that garnered major attention from the loyal fanbase.

However, based on the current storyline directions and the WWE Universe’s reception of champions, some WWE Champions might be on the verge of losing their titles. Here are the top three current Champions who might drop their titles before the end of 2024:

3. LA Knight

LA Knight fought his way to go from an enhancement manager talent to rising above as one of the most popular superstars of the modern era. Knight’s hard work and perseverance led him to dethrone Logan Paul for the United States Championship at SummerSlam 2024.

Despite already having defended his title twice, The Megastar’s reactions have slowly been dipping, which could possibly lead to him dropping the US title before the end of this year, should things not turn in his favour.

2. Nia Jax

Nia Jax has been on a dominant run ever since returning to WWE earlier this year. Her dominance first led her to become the Queen of the Ring, which subsequently translated into a victory at SummerSlam against Bayley to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

However, WWE has already begun to plant seeds for a feud between herself and her Princess, Miss Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton. Therefore, WWE could finally pull the trigger before the year ends and have Tiffanny Stratton cash in on her golden opportunity on Nia Jax to become the new WWE Women’s Champion.

1. Gunther

Gunther’s career has been nothing short of impressive so far, being a champion for almost 75% of his run. He captured his first World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam and has already put down Randy Orton in his first title defence.

However, recent reports hint at Gunther having a future rivalry with CM Punk, which he has also teased. Therefore, to build more credibility for the World title, WWE might choose to have Gunther drop the title to The Best in the World before the end of 2024.
