Some of these stars had a record-breaking year.

After an eventful year that included the Raw debut on Netflix, the start of WWE Premium Live Events on ESPN, and the introduction of two new PLEs, Wrestlepalooza and Clash in Pairs, the promotion is now turning its focus to 2026, leaving 2025 firmly in the rearview mirror.

As we recap the year, looking at the best and worst moments, let us take a look at the stars who have led the stat sheets in 2025, for better or for worse.

CM Punk realised his dream of holding the World Heavyweight title once again after over a decade, when he defeated Gunther in a gruelling match to win the title. However, before the celebration could even begin, Seth Rollins returned, revealing that his knee injury was just a ruse as he cashed in the MITB contract.

Rollins easily pinned Punk, who was beaten-up and gassed out after a lengthy war with the Ring General. The loss ended his title reign at just 5 minutes 10 seconds, the shortest in 2025.

Outside of his United States Championship run, Knight did not secure any additional major titles and came up short against Gunther in the tournament final to determine John Cena’s final opponent, a result that reportedly added to fan frustration with WWE’s decision-making.

However, Knight stayed the most active, despite the setbacks, as he topped the stats sheets when it came to the most matches in 2025 at 48 (televised). Knight competed in 67 overall matches in 2025, earning 39 wins and taking 25 losses, which also secures him third place in most main-roster wins in 2025.

Most wins: Stephanie Vaquer (29)
