Brock Lesnar is heading towards retirement from WWE.
Brock Lesnar has been one of the most tenured combat sports fighters in history. However, since the last few months, there have been rumours that Lesnar is set to retire from in-ring competition at the 2026 WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event.
The Beast Incarnate seemingly confirmed the same by saying that he is with WWE for a ‘short time.’ So here are the top five WWE stars he should have a program with before retirement:
5. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn has been the resilient underdog in WWE who has fought the best and beaten the best. In his quest to become a World Champion, Zayn could encounter Brock Lesnar on the way. This program could be highly beneficial for his push as a top attraction in the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut.

4. LA Knight

LA Knight has all the potential to ascend as a top WWE superstar and live up to his moniker of a ‘Megastar.’ Moreover, he was rumored to be Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 42 opponent, but in the end, Oba Femi got the spot.
Despite that, LA Knight could still have a chance to feud with Lesnar before he hangs up his boots for good.
3. Dominik Mysterio

One of the most popular and captivating WWE superstars of the modern era is Dominik Mysterio. The Judgment Day member has feuded with top names like AJ Styles, his own father Rey Mysterio and even has victory over the GOAT, John Cena.
So, a storyline with Brock Lesnar could add to the impressive list of opponents in his promising WWE career.
2. Trick Williams

Trick Williams has become one of the fastest rising stars in WWE today. He has been able to garner huge attention since being called up to SmackDown from NXT this year.
Trick Willy’s loud pop and enthralling personality make him a prime candidate to have a feud with a marquee attraction like Brock Lesnar before he puts an end to his illustrious career.
1. Gunther

A highly anticipated feud that the fans have been longing to see in WWE is between Brock Lesnar and Gunther. The duo have crossed paths once in the 2023 Royal Rumble match and were rumored to have a match at WrestleMania 39 before Lesnar’s two-year-long hiatus.
With Gunther becoming the Career Killer after ending the careers of legendary names, Brock Lesnar could be the next victim on his list.
When and where will WrestleMania 42 take place?
The 42nd edition of WrestleMania will take place as a two-night event on Saturday, April 18 and 19, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
