WWE Survivor Series 2025 began with a Women’s War Games match!
The 2025 edition of WWE Survivor Series WarGames opened with pure chaos inside Petco Park, as over 45,000 fans roared for the women’s ten-woman cage clash.
Before the double-ring cage even lowered, cameras caught Team Rhea and Team Asuka arriving separately, while the broadcast also spotlighted Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, challenger Nikki Bella, and hometown star Dominik Mysterio receiving a thunderous ovation.
As the siren echoed through the stadium, the WarGames structure descended and the night’s first match, the Women’s WarGames Match, was officially underway. Charlotte Flair, wearing gear inspired by a seven-year-old fan battling a brain tumor, opened for Team Rhea against Asuka.

Flair and Asuka wasted no time exchanging hard strikes, counters, and suplexes across both rings. Asuka repeatedly targeted Flair’s leg, while Flair responded with signature chops that brought loud “WOO!” chants from the packed stadium. Moments later, IYO SKY entered with a trash can lid in hand, instantly igniting the crowd with acrobatic handsprings and a Bullet Train Attack that smashed the lid into Asuka’s face.
Becky Lynch entered next wielding a kendo stick, pummeling SKY before turning her fury on Flair. The two Horsewomen reignited their rivalry, brawling fiercely until Alexa Bliss stormed in, evening the odds with rapid-fire offense, stereo Natural Selections alongside Flair, and coordinated team strikes against Asuka and Lynch.
Kairi Sane shifted the momentum with a neon green chain, delivering a loaded punch and later a diving strike that rocked both rings. AJ Lee followed, scaling the cage to avoid Lynch’s attempt to block the door, sprinting across the rings to punish her longtime rival.

Nia Jax’s arrival brought brute force as she bulldozed multiple opponents, powerbombed SKY, and freight-trained AJ Lee. Rhea Ripley then stormed in with a painted Art-the-Clown-style mask, a trash can, and a sack of weapons, unleashing dropkicks and a missile dropkick to Jax while coordinating Team Rhea’s resurgence.
The match turned wild when Asuka attempted her signature mist, only for Ripley to dodge, causing Lash Legend to take a full blast of green mist. Team Rhea capitalized immediately: a Twisted Bliss to Jax, a double suplex, and SKY’s iconic trash-can-on-the-head Senton Atomico wiping out the entire field.
Becky Lynch tried fleeing up the cage, but Flair dragged her down into a right hand from Bliss, followed by a Riptide. AJ locked in the Black Widow, forcing Lynch to submit and giving Team Rhea the victory.
