An epic match from start to finish
The WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024 showcased a thrilling clash between Team Ripley—Bianca Belair, Naomi, IYO SKY, Bayley and Rhea Ripley—and Team Morgan, which featured WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, Candice LeRae, “Ms. Money in the Bank” Tiffany Stratton and The Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez.
Bayley and Nia Jax kicked off the WWE WarGames battle. Jax used her strength to dominate early, tossing Bayley across the rings and into the steel cage. Despite the odds, Bayley fought back with a hurricanrana and clever counters, keeping herself in the fight until Naomi entered the match.
Naomi brought a glowing kendo stick and a toilet seat to celebrate her birthday, using them creatively to help Bayley temporarily subdue Jax.
Candice LeRae joined the fray next, shifting the momentum in Team Morgan’s favor. LeRae’s innovative offense, including a senton splash and a Quebrada onto Bayley through a makeshift chair bridge, stood out. Bianca Belair’s arrival turned the tide as she used her athleticism and power to deliver impactful moves like an inverted Alabama Slam and countered attacks from Jax and LeRae.
Tiffany Stratton and IYO SKY were next to join, bringing contrasting styles. Stratton showcased her agility and precision with handspring strikes, while SKY electrified the crowd with a daring missile dropkick from the top of the WarGames cage. Their contributions added another layer of chaos to the already unpredictable battle.
Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley’s entrances upped the brutality. Ripley, wearing a ram-themed protective mask, immediately made her presence felt by slamming opponents through tables and neutralizing Rodriguez. Rodriguez responded with raw power, using the steel cage as a weapon to dismantle Team Ripley’s members.
Liv Morgan entered last with a baseball bat, officially beginning the match. Targeting Ripley, Morgan landed vicious strikes, briefly incapacitating her.
However, Ripley fought back, overcoming a triple-team attack and turning the match in her team’s favor. The climax came when Ripley delivered a devastating Riptide to Morgan through a table, earning Team Ripley a hard-fought victory.
Winners: Team Ripley
