Nine championships are set to be contested at the 2025 edition of SummerSlam.

The 2025 edition of SummerSlam is set to make history as the biggest edition of the summer classic to date, featuring a two-night spectacle from the iconic MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

For the first time, SummerSlam will take place over two nights, adopting the format previously used only for WrestleMania. The promotion has set up a mega card where a total of nine Championships are scheduled to be contested.

Additionally, as the PLE moves to a two-night format, WWE had to unveil matches for each night, similar to as they do before WrestleMania. During the July 25 episode of WWE SmackDown, the promotion revealed the full lineup for both nights of the PLE.
