The former CEO of WWE is no longer involved with the company

Vince McMahon is one of the biggest businessmen who has owned WWE since the 1980’s with Titan Sports. Last year, he sold the shares to Endeavour and merged the company with it to form TKO Groups. With that Endeavour now owns the maximum share with 51% and WWE now owns 49%. Although Vince lost the majority he still became the Executive Chairman of the company with Veto Powers.

Since there were a couple of allegations of Vince selling the share and sexual allegations. As a result of the sexual allegation from an ex-WWE employee Ms Janel Grant, McMahon stepped down from his positions at both WWE and TKO Groups and stated that the prior statement from Ms Grant was a lie and looks to defend himself and clear his name. This move made the company free from the McMahon family and the 78-year-old wasn’t seen since then.

Earlier this month it was reported that McMahon has listed his multi-million dollar shares of TKO Group stakes. Now a recent interview from the WWE veteran reveals that McMahon could start a revenge tour and would create a new promotion to compete with WWE.

Vince McMahon planning to take revenge on WWE?

Vince Russo on ‘The Brand’ podcast discussed with Al Snow that he believes Vince McMahon is setting up for a revenge tour. He brought up his own conspiracy theory saying that McMahon could invest in Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling. He noted that McMahon’s recent activity suggested that he could put billions in Jarrett’s promotion and would create a competitor to WWE.

Vince Russo said,

“He is setting up for ‘the Vince McMahon revenge tour.’ I’m telling you bro. I had another conspiracy because, bro, come on… I gotta tell you something, Al [Snow]. Yesterday, there was a big news story that our good friend JJ, [Oh, Global Force Entertainment]. Bro, if there’s one guy to call Vince McMahon. Jeff Jarrett takes advantage of every freaking business [opportunity.] When I saw Global Force, I’m like, bro, Vince McMahon is gonna sink $2 billion into Global Force Wrestling, bro.”

This is only a speculation of Vince Russo, and nothing is official yet. Although this is being a speculation, McMahon is still stuck with Janel Grant’s lawsuit. Do you think Vince McMahon could buy GFC to compete with WWE? Comment your thoughts below.
