The first women’s Rumble match was held in 2018
The Royal Rumble match is one of the most exciting matches in WWE, where wrestlers are focused on eliminating their opponents, by tossing them over the top rope. While the PLE initially only featured men’s Rumble match, the women’s Rumble match was later added in 2018.
Considered among the big five PLEs from the WWE every year, along with WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank. While the PLE features matches the main attraction of the PLE is the two Rumble matches.
Since its inception, the women’s Royal Rumble match has created some iconic moments and has featured some of the biggest names in pro wrestling. Here we will take a look at some of those iconic moments that registered their name in the history books.
Most Royal Rumble wins
While winning the Rumble match is not an easy task there has been a total of seven stars have claimed victory in the Rumble match since its beginning in 2018. A total of 76 women have competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, and seven of them have claimed victory. That means only 5.32% of the participants have won the match.

Unlike the men’s Rumble match, the stars who have entered in the beginning have also claimed victory as compared to the late entrants. Rhea Ripley is the only woman who has won the match from the number 1 position. Numbers 3 and 28 have generated the most wins, with Bianca Belair and Bayley associated with number 3, and Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey linked to number 28.
