Becky Lynch made her much-anticipated return at WrestleMania 41, replacing Bayley as Lyra Valkyria’s partner
In a dramatic twist, Bayley was pulled from her scheduled tag match after a backstage assault, leaving Lyra Valkyria without a partner for one of the biggest matches of her career.
But the WWE Universe didn’t have to wait long for a surprise replacement. “The Man” Becky Lynch emerged as her new tag team partner, and the crowd absolutely erupted.
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, cocky and confident, looked to take advantage of the last-minute substitution. Morgan started things off, but quickly tagged out to Rodriguez the moment she saw Lynch in the ring.
Raquel got in Becky’s face, but Lynch popped her with a right hand and charged after Morgan, sparking an early brawl. Rodriguez tried to get control with her strength, but Valkyria tagged in and came flying in with a flurry of kicks and a picture-perfect enzuigiri that sent Raquel tumbling to the floor.
Lyra followed with a dropkick off the top, but Morgan cut her off and hit a Rocket Launcher-assisted attack for a two-count.
Liv tagged in and grounded Valkyria, hitting the Three Amigos and nearly scored the win. When Lyra finally crawled for a tag, Morgan yanked Becky Lynch off the apron, denying the break and drawing massive heat from the crowd.
Rodriguez hit a huge boot to Becky Lynch, keeping her out of the action until Valkyria managed to low-bridge Raquel and finally reach the corner.
Becky Lynch came in like a house of fire, dropping Liv with lariats, hitting a senton atomico off the top to the floor on Rodriguez, and following with a classic exploder suplex on Morgan. The crowd was red-hot as Becky locked in the Dis-Arm-Her, only for Raquel to break it up with a brutal kick.
But the chaos wasn’t done as Rodriguez tried to take out Valkyria, only to get hit with a stunning tornado DDT. Liv rushed in and looked for Oblivion, but Becky ducked it and BOOM, she hit Morgan with a Manhandle Slam to pick up the win!
