The Triple Threat main event lived upto the hype

In a main event that will be dissected for years to come, Seth “Freakin” Rollins walked into WWE WrestleMania 41 as the architect of chaos and walked out with the win in a war against Roman Reigns and CM Punk. The entrances alone set the tone for a cinematic masterpiece.

Rollins emerged first, engulfed in mystique, wielding a flame thrower that lit up the sky. Halfway down the ramp, the lights went out. When they returned, Rollins stood dressed in white, bathed in the voices of 61,000 fans serenading his entrance.

Roman Reigns followed, stoic as ever, donning black and white with his ula fala, a silent nod to his legacy. He walked the aisle as the crowd chanted his name, placing his Ula Fala under the turnbuckle.

Then came CM Punk, reintroduced by a fiery retrospective to “This Fire Burns”. But it was Living Colour’s live performance of “Cult of Personality” that blew the roof off the stadium. Accompanied by Paul Heyman, Punk declared it was “clobbering time,” and it was.

Once the bell rang, the match exploded into a chaotic, no-holds-barred brawl that spilled across the ringside area, the crowd, and even through two announce tables. Punk and Seth battled like long-lost rivals, Roman threw bodies like a wrecking ball, and the crowd couldn’t get enough.

The drama escalated with every reversal GTS attempts, mid-air Pedigrees, Superman Punch counters and an unbelievable doomsday device spot that nearly broke the ring. Seth, Roman, and Punk took each other to their absolute limits in a match of pure intensity and emotion.

Seth Rollins is now a Paul Heyman guy

But then Paul Heyman changed the game. After tension simmered between all three men and with Punk close to victory, Heyman betrayed everyone. First Punk, then Roman.

His allegiance broken, his morality lost, he low-blowed both men and handed the chair to Seth Rollins, who sealed the moment with a steel chair shot to Roman’s back, followed by a curb stomp to pick up the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins
