The city will host the PLE for two consecutive years, after the original plan to hold the event in New Orleans, Louisiana, was scrapped.

Night 1 will feature seven exciting matches, including title bouts and much more. Let’s now take a look at a detailed preview, along with the match card, news, and telecast details for Night 1 of WWE WrestleMania.

Logan Paul, Austin Theory & IShowSpeed vs The Usos (Jey & Jimmy) & LA Knight
The opening match of Night 1 will be a six-man tag team bout featuring The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) teaming with LA Knight against The Vision (Austin Theory & Logan Paul) and IShowSpeed.
Fresh off their World Tag Team Title victory over The Usos, The Vision, now aligned with Speed, will look to build momentum and solidify their dominance with another high-profile win.
Drew McIntyre vs Jacob Fatu – Unsanctioned match
Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu will get to settle the score at Mania in an unsanctioned match. The two have been feuding since Fatu’s return. Notably, Fatu has also accused McIntyre of being behind the backstage attack that took him out in 2025. McIntyre, however, has denied these claims.
Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs Liv Morgan – Women’s World Championship
After winning the 2026 women’s Royal Rumble match, Liv Morgan chose Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
The feud between the two has since brought out the worst in them, with personal jabs and physical attacks that have stepped over the line. It now remains to be seen who walks out with the World title at Mania.
AJ Lee (c) vs Becky Lynch – Women’s Intercontinental Championship
Following their last clash at Elimination Chamber, where AJ Lee walked out with the Women’s Intercontinental title, Lee and Becky Lynch will once again collide with the title on the line in the rematch. Lee has been undefeated against Becky, and it remains to be seen if Becky can register the first win.
Irresistible Forces (c) vs Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs Nikki & Brie Bella – Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match

WWE has also announced a Fatal four-way match where The Irrestible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) will defend the Women’s Tag Team titles against The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella), Bayley & Lya Valkyria, and Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss.
Seth Rollins vs Gunther

After an unprovoked attack by Gunther on Seth Rollins, the two stars have been locked in a fierce feud, with the underlying favour that Gunther wants from Paul Heyman, while Rollins wants to defeat Gunther and refocus on his goal of destroying the Vision faction.
Cody Rhodes (c) vs Randy Orton – Undisputed WWE Championship
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will defend the title against Randy Orton. The men’s Elimination Chamber winner, who started listening to the voices and turned heel, brutalising Cody.
Pat McAfee has been revealed as “the voice in Orton’s ear,” and a new stipulation states that if Orton fails to win the title, McAfee must leave the wrestling business for good. This added condition raises the stakes and brings even more drama to an already blockbuster championship showdown.
