The Grandest Stage is now just one week away.
With the clock quickly winding down, WWE WrestleMania 42 is now just one week away. The two-night spectacle is set to emanate on April 18 and 19 from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The promotion earlier in this week announced the full match cards for both nights of WrestleMania 42 on ESPN’s Get Up!.
Night 1 will be headlined by Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton, while Night 2 will close with CM Punk putting the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Roman Reigns.
Now, a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has provided an update on which matches are scheduled to open both nights of the PLE.
ESPN pushes for Brock Lesnar’s inclusion in WWE match package

According to the report, the six-man tag team match where The Vision (Logan Paul, Austin Theory) will team up with YouTube star iShowSpeed to take on The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso), and LA Knight will open Night One of WrestleMania 42.
On the other hand, the highly anticipated clash between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi will open Night Two of the PLE. The report also adds that ESPN pushed to have Brock Lesnar included in the lineup of matches for its traditional platforms, a move that WWE was happy to accommodate.
Notably, the first hour of each night will air on ESPN2 and ESPN, respectively, in the United States, a move that could be aimed at attracting more fans to subscribe to ESPN.
