AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla declared war on Wonder Ring Stardom and laid the challenge for Forbidden Door. Stardom star Starlight Kid answered the challenge, setting the stage for a high-stakes title showdown.
The matchup carries added significance due to their shared history, as Starlight Kid holds two previous victories over the reigning champion. With the Women’s World Championship on the line, Thekla will have an opportunity to settle the score, while Starlight has the opportunity to create history and defend Stardom’s honor after Thekla’s provocative comments.
Three more title matches have been added to the card as Jon Moxley defends the AEW Continental title against Bandido, while IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion Shota Umino battles Pac, with the title on the line.
Additionally, after capturing the World Tag Team titles at Double Or Nothing 2026, Cope and Cage (Adam Copeland & Christian Cage) will defend them for the first time against The Dogs (David Finlay & Clark Connors).
A three-way tag team match has been added to the card, featuring AEW’s The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs NJPW’s Unbound Co. (Shingo Takagi & Titan) vs CMLL’s El Sky Team (Mistico & Mascara Dorada).
AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne & Lena Kross) are also set to defend the titles against Thunder Rosa & Olympia during the pre-show of the PPV, while AEW’s Skye Blue battles Stardom’s Maika in the TBS Championship Survival of the Fittest Qualifying match.
