Forbidden Door returns in 2026 with new alliances.

The 2026 edition of Forbidden Door is set to emanate on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The PPV is part of a stacked weekend schedule, which features PLEs and PPVs from WWE’s main roster, NXT, and TNA.

Forbidden Door will go head-to-head with NXT Great American Bash, which starts one hour early at 7 PM ET, while TNA Slammiversary will air even before that from 4 PM ET. On the other hand, Night of Champions PLE airs on Saturday at 1 PM ET.

The Forbidden Door PPV, which is usually co-produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) in 2026, will also involve Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and NJPW’s sister promotion, World Wonder Ring Stardom.

Multiple major matches have been announced for the show, including five title matches and stars competing against each other from all four promotions. The finals of the men’s and women’s Owen Hart tournament will also take place at the PPV.
