Black Clover Season 5 announced & will be releasing in 2026

The fight against the devil will begin once again!

The anime fans are all over the moon, as it has finally been confirmed that Black Clover Season 5 will start airing in 2026.

This was announced at Anime Expo 2025, held on July 5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Produced by Studio Pierrot (Naruto, Bleach), the next season will premiere on Crunchyroll, continuing the story of Asta and Yuna.

First look at the new season

Crunchyroll Industry panel revealed the first stunning promotional video, giving the fans a first look at Black Clover Season 5.

The trailer recalls Asta’s adventure and features a breathtaking image of him in his Devil Union form, brandishing the Demon-Slasher katana alongside Liebe.

The tagline, “Witness the New Legend,” sets the tone for an action-packed sequel.

Fans will finally be able to see the new powers of Asta in full action in the new season.

Yuki Tabata’s heartfelt message

Celebrating manga’s 10th anniversary, creator Yuki Tabata shared a heartfelt message with the fans:

“The long-awaited new season of Black Clover is confirmed! I’m thrilled after the passionate movie, and with your support, we’re marking a decade of Black Clover! The incredible production team is powering up the anime, and I hope fans worldwide enjoy it!”

What to expect in 2026?

Season 2 of Black Clover, based on Yuki Tabata’s shonen manga, will most likely feature returning voice actors like as Gakuto Kajiwara (Asta), Nobunaga Shimazaki (Yuno), and Kana Yuki (Noelle).

Fans can expect top-notch animation from Studio Pierrot that will feature some amazing battles in the upcoming arc. This new season will be exclusively streamed on Crunchyroll for now.
