None of the archers have secured a Olympic quota till date.

The Archery competition will commence on 1 October 2023 at Fuyang Silver Lake Sports Center, Hangzhou, China. Apart from the recurve archery compound events are also added in the the current of the Asian Games. The Compound individual event was scrapped in 2018 but after a five-year hiatus is back with several archers set to return.

The Indian squad consists of three world champions (including team) - Aditi Gopichand Swami (women's Individual Champion), Praveen Ojas Deotale (mens individual champion) and the women's team of Aditi Swami, Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Parneet Kaur.

India has won a total of ten medals so far - one gold, four silver and five bronze medals. In the 2018 edition, India won two silver medals both coming from the compound category (Compound women's team and men's team). The only gold medal came at the 2014 edition when the men's Compound team beat Korea in the final.
