Archery World Cup 2026 Puebla: Full schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

A 16-member Indian contingent will participate in the event.
The Archery World Cup 2026 Stage 1 in Puebla will mark the beginning of the World Cup series stages, featuring prominent international archers in both recurve and compound from April 7 to 12 in Mexico.
The gold medalists in the individual events at this stage can earn direct qualification spots for the World Cup Final, set to be held later in Saltillo, Mexico, from September 12 to 13.
India will field a 16-member contingent at the Archery World Cup Stage 1, led by compound archers Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Abhishek Verma, alongside recurve stars Deepika Kumari, Dhiraj Bommadevara and Atanu Das.
The team enters the season on the back of a high, having defeated South Korea at the Asian Archery Championships 2025 to win the men’s recurve team gold. The victory ended in dramatic fashion, with India overturning a 2-4 deficit to accomplish a 5-4 win, thus ending an 18-year wait.
Additionally, India topped the medal standings at the tournament with six gold, three silver and one bronze, finishing ahead of Korea, who had an identical 10-medal haul but only two golds.
However, the challenge won’t be easy for the Indian archers at the Puebla Archery World Cup Stage, with dominant names such as multiple Olympic medalist and two-time world champion in recurve Brady Ellison and five-time world champion compound archer Sara Lopez in the fray, making the event even more competitive on paper.
With participation expected from around 200 archers across 32 nations, Puebla sets the tone for the circuit that will run through Shanghai, Antalya and Madrid in the coming months, before culminating in the World Cup Final.
