The India skipper's strike against the War Elephants faces some stiff competition for the coveted prize.
The AFC Asian Cup has come to end after experiencing its biggest and grandest ever event in the competition's history at the United Arab Emirates with Qatar piping Japan 3-1 to clinch the continental crown.
However, the tournament had a bit of everything and some of the matches were nail bitters while some were totally dominated by one team but the spectators never complained about lack of goals as they saw some amazing freekicks some cracking volleys and some mesmerising curlers throughout the event. Hence the AFC has decided to put out the best goals and wants the fans to choose from there their goal of the tournament.

It was a well-orchestrated goal to say the least as both teams were tied with a score 1-1 and just with the start of second half, the Blues Tigers decided to put their foot down the accelerator. It was a sensational counter-attacking move as Udanta Singh was too fast for the defenders on the flanks as he laid a pinpoint delivery to Chhetri path who made a fine run down the middle. The 34-year old came up with a peach of a strike leaving the Thai defender and goalkeeper in complete awe and handing India the lead.

The nomination also includes the tournament's youngest player Mohanad Ali's stunning strike against Yemen in the group stages and also Vietnam's Nguyen Quang Hai's mesmerising freekick goal against the same opposition. Qatar's poster boy Almoez Ali who broke all records with his sharpshooting boots makes his way twice in the top ten list with two tremendous solo efforts against UAE and Japan in the semis and finals respectively.
