Why Sanchez and Mkhitaryan's swap deal is a win-win for both the clubs?
Mourinho and Wenger about to get their desired players in an interesting and out of the blue swap deal.
Alexis Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan's most awaited swap deal officially took place yesterday. The deal was a straight swap with no money involved. which seemed fair to both Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger as they are getting the perfect player which they desired for.
Let’s take a look at the reasons, why this deal will be a win-win for both the teams.
Signing Sanchez is a major boost for Mourinho. The pace and ability to beat defenders by the physical strength which Mourinho was looking for, Sanchez has both the things in abundance. The Chilean international has always been a clinical finisher in front of goal who can shoulder part of Romelu Lukaku's goalscoring burden.
Manchester United introduced Alexis Sanchez in style
4-2-3-1 is the formation which can be a perfect fit for Sanchez at United. The Chilean can play on both the wings along with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in rotation and with Lukaku upfront. United have been a lethal side from both the flanks so far this season and with the inclusion of Sanchez it will be a sign of worry for the opposition as the exploitation from the flanks could get much better.
How Manchester United may line up with Sanchez in the team
Not just on the wings but Sanchez is a perfect match to play as a central striker supplementig Lukaku. Thus, the Belgian striker who is having a restless season can get some time to breathe which will allow him to maintain his fitness at the top level. The arrival of Sanchez brings a sense of balance to the Old Trafford side which will be crucial for them in the Champions League in particular.
On the flip side, Henrikh Mkhitaryan didn't have a great time at United as he failed to live up to the standards which he was known for in his Borussia Dortmund's days. Mourinho is also the man to blame for Mkhi's downfall. The Portuguese manager handed defensive responsibilities to the player who is known for his attacking intuitions and havocing runs through the defence.

Arsenal is the team which can be a perfect match for Mkhitaryan's natural game. Their high pressing and attacking kind of game will suit the Armenian's style. A 4-3-3- can easily accommodate Mikhitaryan in his desired position at Emirates Stadium. With Alexandre Lacazette upfront followed by Ozil in the #10 position with Jack Wilshere and Mkhitaryan on the left and right wings, Arsenal could tear any defence apart on their day.
How Arsenal may line up with Mkhitaryan in the team
Mkhitaryan's role at Arsenal will be much more of a provider rather than a scorer. His ability to edge past defenders and provide pinpoint passes is what Wenger would surely like to exploit rather than demanding him to sit deep and run the game which Mourinho did. With players like Ozil, Wilshere and Lacazette the Armenian could re-discover his original class which he is known for.
