Atletico Madrid has completed the free transfer of Portuguese international Gelson Martins on a six-year contract.

The transfer window is open and top clubs are quickening up their pace – looking to sign their targets. International veteran Joao Moutinho has already departed Monaco for Wolverhampton Wanderers. He will be joining a host of Portuguese players at the club, with the likes of Ruben Neves, Rui Patricio, and Diogo Jota.

Malcolm moves to Barcelona

Barcelona has confirmed the signing of Brazilian player Malcolm from Bordeaux, for a fee of £37.3m.

The midfielder was expected to join Serie A outfit AS Roma, but Bordeaux canceled the move at the last minute. Roma has threatened legal action.

"We are looking at our options and seeing if we have a legal case," Roma sporting director Monchi told the club's official website.

Rodrigo on a big money move?

Real Madrid is planning a big money move for Valencia forward Rodrigo, reports Marca. The Spanish international has a £107m release clause.

The capital club is currently working on a replacement for the departed Cristiano Ronaldo.

Gelson Martins moves to La Liga on a free transfer

Atletico Madrid has signed Portuguese Gelson Martins from Sporting Lisbon on a free transfer. The winger has penned a six-year contract.

Martins is one of the players who told the Lisbon outfit that they were canceling their contracts and would leave the crisis-torn club.

Leonardo Bonucci and Gonzalo Higuain possible swap deal?

Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci is reportedly ready to return to Juventus, 12 months after departing The Old Lady to join rivals AC Milan.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the two clubs have started discussing such a possible swap deal involving Gonzalo Higuain. Multiple reports have been speculating that such a move was on the mind of the Milan skipper since January 2018.

The 31-year-old left Juve a year ago due to an alleged falling out with manager Massimiliano Allegri. Bonucci made 35 league appearances for the San Siro-based outfit last season.

Ousmane Dembele seeking a way out of Camp Nou

French international and World Cup winner Ousmane Dembele is allegedly seeking a way out of Barcelona due to the arrival of Brazilian Malcolm, reports Cadena Cope.

The former Dortmund player arrived at Camp Nou in the summer of 2017, but injuries hindered his influence in his debut campaign. The arrival of Malcolm is allegedly forcing him to look for another club.

Real Madrid is currently in search for another striker with a particular interest in Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani, reports Radio Marca.

The South American has always been someone to heat up the European scoring charts and could fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Serie A outfit Inter Milan will make a move for Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta if they are not successful in getting Atletico Madrid’s Sime Vrsjalko, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.

Manager Luciano Spalletti has stated that the Croatian is his main target at right-back but getting him would be hard.

Manchester United's Matteo Darmian is also an option if neither of the two agrees to a move.

Jerome Boateng in talks with PSG

Bayern Munich has confirmed that defender Jerome Boateng is holding talks with Paris Saint-Germain about a possible move to France.

The World Cup winner is expected to depart the club, with Bayern already having a replacement in their ranks in the form of Niklas Sule. The German international is valued at between £44m and £53m.

Andre Schurrle on his way back to England

German midfielder Andre Schurrle is on his way back to England, to join West London outfit Fulham. The former Chelsea midfielder will move to Craven Cottage on a season-long loan from Dortmund.

The German club has allowed him to leave their pre-season training camp in the USA.

Goncalo Guedes to seal a permanent move

PSG manager Thomas Tuchel has already excluded Goncalo Guedes and Jese Rodriguez from his squad. Valencia has met with the Paris club and Jorge Mendes to seal a permanent move for the young attacker who was on loan with them last season. According to Marca, the Ligue 1 outfit want £62m for the player.
