Gameweek 16 Review
Gameweek 16 had a well-balanced result with the majority of the team contributing to a total share of points. Alisson kept a clean sheet for 6 points while Robertson managed an assist along with his clean sheet to come away with 11 points. Matt Doherty’s goal gave the Wolves defender 7 points while vice-captain Richarlison too had the same amount of points.
Marcos Alonso got 6 points for his clean sheet against Manchester City while Eden Hazard got 9 points for his two assists in the same match. Captain Aubameyang had a 10-point week. However, Aaron-Wan Bissaka and Aleksandar Mitrovic had only one point each while James Maddison and Ryan Fraser too disappointed with two points each. Gameweek 17 Transfers
Special considerations should be given to the transfers this week, as GW 17 marks the beginning of FPL Cup. It is the appropriate time to use the Free Hit if needed.
Gerard Deulofeu’s dip in form is a cause for inquiry. The Watford midfield has failed to be consistent and therefore is removed. Possible candidates for replacement are fellow Watford midfielders Roberto Pereyra and Abdoulaye Doucoure. However, keeping current form and favourable fixtures in mind, West Ham’s Robert Snodgrass is chosen to replace the Spaniard.
Callum Wilson can also be transferred as he is unlikely to feature this week. Possible players who can replace him are Brighton’s Glenn Murray and Wolverhampton’s Raul Jimenez.
