FPL Guru: How your team should look like in Gameweek 20
The top teams face some tricky fixtures in the coming week but their key performers are still worth banking on.
Leicester pulled off the biggest surprise of the week, handing defending champions Manchester City their second successive defeat. Manchester United saw off the Huddersfield challenge at home while Liverpool thumped Newcastle 4-0 to increase their lead at the top to 6 points. Tottenham capitalized on City’s misfortune to move up to second with a 5-0 rout of Bournemouth while Chelsea managed to overcome a fighting Watford in Vicarage Road. Brighton managed to hold Arsenal to a stalemate at the American Express Stadium.
Gameweek 19 Review
A very testing Gameweek for the team. Captain Andrew Robertson got 12 points while his teammate Alisson got 6 points as Liverpool kept a clean sheet in their victory over Newcastle. Eden Hazard got 15 points courtesy of his two goals against Watford while Aubameyang managed to get 8 points. Aaron- Wan Bissaka got 8 points due to his performance in his side’s goalless draw against Cardiff while Richarlison got a goal after coming on from the bench which gave him five points. The remaining five players got 2 points each with the team finishing just above average.
Gameweek 20 Transfers
Robert Snodgrass has failed to deliver on a consistent basis after being brought in. He can be replaced with David Brooks or Solly March both of them who have hit a nice patch of form.
However, the transfer that is being made this week is that of Aymeric Laporte. The Manchester City center-back has failed to keep a clean sheet in six successive games and is transferred out for Toby Alderweireld. The Belgian center-back is a vital cog in Tottenham’s current resurgence.
