The 26-year-old winger will join Brian Umony in the southerners' attack.

Gokulam Kerala, who made their I-League debut last season, have announced the signing of former Kerala Blasters' attacker Antonio German. The QPR academy product has signed a deal until the end of next season.

Gokulam Kerala had a topsy-turvy season this time in the country's top-tier league. But, after the initial struggles, the Bino George coached side rebounded and emerged victorious against some of the I-League's bigwigs and made their debut campaign a remarkable one. The team even put up a heroic fight against Bengaluru FC in the Super Cup, but ended the campaign in despair.

The team is all set to make it even bigger next season. The southern outfit have already signalled their intentions by announcing the inclusion of Ugandan attacker Brian Umony last month and have now secured the services of the experienced German.

German had six goals to his name in the second season, from just nine appearances playing a big role for Steve Coppell's team. Despite wanting to make a comeback, Rene Meulensteen didn't retain him for the fourth season. He then plied his trade for clubs like Ebbsfleet United.

Gokulam have already signed Spanish coach Fernando Valera. German's inclusion into the squad will help Valera build attacking strategies ahead of next season. The team is currently in Oman, and have played a friendly against Sur Sports Club, but lost 4-2.
