ISL clubs come out in support of Supreme Court verdict on LGBT rights

The apex court legalized same-sex relationships and marriages in a landmark verdict earlier today.

6th September 2018, a date that will go down in Indian history as one after which the citizens of this country were not bound to love only their opposite gender. In a revolutionary ruling by the Supreme Court of India, people of Indian roots are now legally allowed to love any human regardless of their gender. Before, the very act and the thought was ridiculed and criminalised.

Following the amendment of section 377 and the positive response by the Indian masses, Football clubs of India, majorly from the Indian Super League have come up for the support of LGBT Indian society.
