The Stallions climebed to the sixth position in the league standings as they finished their season.

Amidst financial problems that the club has been facing of late, FC Pune City pulled off an emphatic 2-1 win in the Maharashtra Derby against Mumbai City FC at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex.

The Stallions ended the season on a positive note under Phil Brown, while Jorge Costa's men will be looking to forget the performance and look forward to the playoffs.

Watch: FC Pune City 2-1 Mumbai City FC highlights

Below are the ratings of Indian players involved in the game:

FC Pune City

Kamaljit Singh - 6.5

Kamaljit once again put on a wonderful display, as he continued with his excellent run of form this season. The 22-year-old pulled off a great save in the 39th minute from a Tafael Bastos shot. He managed to save five shots out of the six he faced on goal. Was unlucky to miss out on a clean-sheet due to a late penalty.

Sarthak Golui - 6.5

The makeshift right-back was lucky not to concede a penalty when he put in a reckless sliding tackle on Arnold Issoko in the 26th minute. He eventually earned a yellow card in the 76th minute. Sarthak played a decent part in the derby win, as he made seven clearances, four interceptions and five blocks.

Gurtej Singh- 6.5

Gurtej returned to the starting lineup after a long time and he didn’t disappoint. Earned a booking in the 43rd minute for blocking Pranjal Bhumij’s run. He performed six clearances in the game and also made a crucial block.

Adil Khan- 7.5

Strong as usual, Adil Khan scored from a spectacular no-look volley in the 18th minute to put Pune ahead. The veteran midfielder maintained a good 77% passing accuracy and was defensively strong too.

Nikhil Poojary - 6.0

The winger who made only his second start of the season, was pretty lively in the attack, although he couldn’t make any crucial contribution.

Robin Singh - 6.0

Under Brown, Robin has performed pretty well as compared to his displays earlier in the season. Against Mumbai, it wasn’t one of his best performances, as he was a spectator for most of the game. His passing too was pretty questionable with just 47% accuracy. In fact, the veteran striker was lucky that his wayward pass was converted beautifully into an assist by Adil as he scored the opening goal.

Mohammad Yasir- 7.0

Given his first start of the season, Yasir took his time to get involved in the game. He wasted possession for most of the first half, but still was a lively option on the wing. His great footwork in the box followed by a superb delivery to Iain Hume earned him an assist in the 84th minute.

Substitutions

Ashutosh Mehta- N/A

Came on in the 89th minute to replace Nikhil and it was too late for him to make any impact on the game.

Lalchhuanmawia Fanai- NA

Was brought on too late and hence couldn’t make an impact on the game.

Mumbai City FC

Amrinder Singh- 6.5

When Adil scored from close range in the 18th minute, Amrinder was rooted to the spot. Was once again helpless when Hume scored the second goal for Pune. Overall, it wasn’t the best of performances by the custodian, despite a brilliant stop in the second half off Rohit Kumar’s shot.

Anwar Ali- 6.0

The veteran centre-back was solid at the back and showed good command over the line, despite his side conceding two goals. He made nine passes in total in the game and completed each and every one of them. He also made eight clearances and a couple of blocks.

Sanjay Balmuchu- 6.0

Wasn’t much of an influence in the game. Sanjay made a total of two clearances, three interceptions and a couple of blocks.

Pranjal Bhumij- 5.5

The youngster showed good pressing early on in the game, but was very often overpowered by the Pune defenders. Pranjal was eventually substituted at half-time as Bipin Singh came on.

Mohammad Rafique- 6.0

The midfielder was in decent form on the night, as he played a solid role in the holding position. Rafique made four tackles, three clearances and a couple of blocks and his passing was quite accurate too.

Raynier Fernandes-  6.0

Wasn’t as productive as he usually is, but Raynier can definitely perform better. He kept his passes clean with a 70% accuracy and that was the only positive of his game.

Substitutions

Bipin Singh- 6.0

Came on as a half-time substitution for young Bhumij, but did not make much of an impact. He took only one shot in the game and that too went off target.

Sanju Pradhan- 6.5

Came on in the 67th minute and had an 83% passing accuracy. That was pretty much his highlight of the game.
