Indian Player Ratings: Halicharan Narzary disappoints, Mohammad Nawaz shines
(Courtesy : Nutra Supplements)
The likes of Prasanth and Anas Edathodika had a night to forget.
FC Goa comfortably beat Kerala Blasters at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi, and retained their top spot in the ISL table. It was Ferran Corominas who opened the account for Goa, as he headed the ball past Naveen Kumar in the 11th minute of the game.
In the 45th minute, Corominas doubled his side's lead as his shot from outside the box went past a diving Naveen Kumar, to the frustration of the home fans. Kerala's hopes of a comeback were put to bed by Manvir Singh, who scored FC Goa's third goal through a header.
Kochi remained witness to another attacking masterclass from visitors @FCGoaOfficial who dominated #KERGOA to hand @KeralaBlasters their second consecutive home defeat of the season. More videos: https://t.co/8jtqJIjojH#ISLRecap #LetsFootball #HeroISL #FanBannaPadega pic.twitter.com/vA8JklSYt0

Watch: Kerala Blasters 1-3 FC Goa highlights
Kerala Blasters managed to score a goal in injury-time, but that was not enough for the hosts to register a victory against the Goan side. Let's take a look at how the Indian players from both sides fared in the game:
Kerala Blasters
Naveen Kumar - 5.0
Ferran Corominas attempted twice from close-range to complete his hat-trick, but Naveen Kumar and Co. manage to keep him at bay!Watch it LIVE on @hotstartweets: https://t.co/8IiXflaXE4JioTV users can watch it LIVE on the app. #HeroISL #ISLMoments #LetsFootball #KERGOA pic.twitter.com/9s5WCYQR2N

Watch: Naveen had a night to forget, but he prevented a Coro hat-trick
Should have done better on those occasions when FC Goa scored goals. Improved his game in the second half. Made some decent saves to deny Goa from scoring more goals in some one-on-one situations.
Sandesh Jhingan - 5.0
One of the key aspects of Sandesh Jhingan's game is his aerial dominance and against Goa, it was visible. He also made a few tackles to prevent the opposition from scoring more. However, he should have done better to deny the players space on some occasions. Assisted Krcmarevic, who scored Kerala's only goal of the game.
Lalruatthara - 4.0
Not the best performance from the youngster. We have seen him play better and it is exactly what is expected from him. However, it was not on display against Goa and he failed to negate the threat produced by players like Seriton Fernandes, Jackichand Singh and Lenny Rodrigues.
Anas Edathodika - 4.0
David James included Anas Edathodika in the starting XI for the first time this season and the defender was a strong presence in the defence, but was prone to committing errors. His performance left a lot be desired.
Mohamad Rakip - 3.0
Talented and promising, but still has a long way to go. Promising going forward, the youngster struggled to contain the movement of the dangerous Brandon Fernandes on the right flank. He also gave away possession on numerous occasions. Was replaced by Cyril Kali in the second half.
Prasanth - 4.0
Kerala Blasters could not utilize the blistering pace Prasanth is blessed with. Could not threaten the Goan defenders as expected. Was replaced by CK Vineeth after the Gaurs scored their third goal.
Halicharan Narzary - 4.0
Got into the starting XI ahead of the likes of Vineeth and Seminlen Doungel, but did little to prove that the decision was right. Played too many misplaced passes, failed to get the better of the opponents' defence.

CK Vineeth - 5.0
A much better performance from Vineeth, but could not score goals. He had chances to score, but scuffed each one.
Seiminlen Doungel - 6.0
.@Seiminlen_9's powerful free-kick goes through the defensive wall but it is saved brilliantly by Mohammad Nawaz!Watch it LIVE on @hotstartweets: https://t.co/8IiXflaXE4JioTV users can watch it LIVE on the app. #HeroISL #ISLMoments #LetsFootball #KERGOA #FanBannaPadega pic.twitter.com/OnHOnZfLSW

Watch: Doungel had a powerful free-kick saved
He was the spark Kerala missed in the beginning. Replaced Slavisa just before half-time and threatened Goa with his marauding runs down the flank. He created numerous opportunities for his teammates, but they could not capitalize on them.

Watch: The young goalkeeper had a decent night
Deserved to keep a clean-sheet, but conceded an unfortunate goal in injury-time in the second half. Made some fine saves to thwart Kerala from getting back into the game.
Seriton Fernandes - 7.0
A decent performance from this 26-year-old defender. Helped Jackichand Singh on the right flank by making some darting runs forward. Also, made some crucial clearances at the back, preventing Kerala from scoring goals.
Mohamed Ali - 6.0
Did the best he could to stop Kerala attackers from entering the box. However, there were moments where he should have fared better.
Brandon Fernandes - 7.0
Had a slight edge on the left flank. Tested and got the better of Rakip throughout the first half. Combined well with his teammates and initiated some menacing attacks.
Lenny Rodrigues - 8.0
A brilliant performance from Lenny. Made some runs down the flank, but his attempts did not come to fruition. Was impressive in midfield. Helped his defenders when the situation warranted.
Jackichand Singh - 5.0
Not the best of performances from Jackichand Singh in Kochi. Could not completely outsmart Lalruatthara, but pplayed his part in Goa's dominant victory.
