India internationals express support for flood hit Kerala with #StayWithKerala
Heavy rains have ravaged the southern state for more than a week now.
Amidst their preparatory tour to Australia for the upcoming SAFF Suzuki Cup next month, the Indian team has come up with a kind gesture, addressing the flood-affected people of Kerala.
The Indian Football Team's social media handles posted a video earlier today where three Indian internationals, Nikhil Poojary, Vinit Rai and Ashique Kuruniyan can be seen talking about the devastating flood that have affected the lives of millions of people in the southern state.

"Hi, this is Nikhil Poojary from India. Sometimes nicest people have to appear for the toughest tests. You're God's Own Country and you will always be so," Poojary started in English as Rai and Kuruniyan continued to speak the same in Hindi and Malayalam respectively.
Earlier in the day, reports confirmed the death of 167 souls in the state by the devastating flood all over the state. While many relief camps have been set all over the state, in many cases trucks full of relief could not reach its destination for water submerging the roads as well as entire towns.

Kerala-based Indian Super League (ISL) side Kerala Blasters opened a relief material collection centre at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Kaloor whereas Bengaluru FC also started a similar initiative.
