It is being alleged that France and Arsenal legend Theirry Henry will take over as head coach of the Les Monégasques. The former Barcelona forward won the Ligue 1 title with Monaco in the 1996-97 campaign. Currently, he is working as an assistant to Belgium national team gaffer, Roberto Martinez. He is also being linked to Aston Villa, but it is being alleged that 41-year old is interesting in rebuilding Monaco's season, and will reject any advances made by the Championship team.

Some formal details are still left to be completed between the Gunners hero and Monaco, before he steps into the helm at Stade Louis II Stadium. He also watched the French side's 2-1 UEFA Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid.
