Radamel Falcao feels confident to maintain his standards in many more seasons to come
The Colombian striker joined Les Monégasques in 2013.
It has been a long ride for Radamel Falcao and despite being 33 years old, El Tigre feels he can go on at this level for few more years.
Falcao currently plies his trade for Ligue 1 side, AS Monaco and feels confident about continuing at this level for many more years. He was questioned about his future plans of leaving the Ligue 1 this summer.
Despite Falcao's assurance, the Colombian striker is linked with his former club Atletico Madrid and a move to Italy is also on the cards for the 33-year old marksman.
It has been a topsy turvy season for Monaco where they were staring relegation from the French Ligue 1 at one stage. However, now they are somehow in a better place at 16th position but not completely out of danger. it has been a tough season for Falcao as he only managed to score 12 goals in 27 Ligue 1 appearances.
Despite all the things against him, Falcao over the years has been a consistent goal scorer in Europe and believes that he can maintain similar intensity in the coming years.
"I still have one more year of my contract to do. Every year you ask me the same question," he told at a news conference.
"So far, I'm very focused on this season. My only ambition as a player is to play at the highest level."
"I still feel very good. I can play at this level for many years, here, or in another country in Europe.
"But I feel good in Monaco and have one year of my contract remaining.”

Falcao joined Monaco back in 2013 from Atletico Madrid and since then he has been the fan favourite and face of the club. However, his time at Stade Louis II has not been smooth throughout and despite all the hardships he has been impressive this season.
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]It has been a disappointing season for Monaco which saw Leonardo Jardim depart and then join again after a short hiatus. Their meteoric fall from the top of Ligue 1 is disappointing, as the Les Monegasques won the French league and reached the semifinals of the Champions League two years ago.
Currently, Jardim is at the helm doing the damage control and the Portuguese tactician will hope that an experienced campaigner like Radamel Falcao stays at the club.
