I can sign a pre-contract with whoever I want- Cesc Fabregas
The Spanish world cup winner could be on his way to Milan next season.
Cesc Fabregas insists he is happy at Chelsea FC but would love to have more playing minutes under his belt. The former Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder has found playing time hard to come this season. Fabregas has been restricted to three substitute appearances in terms of action on the pitch.
After the appointment of Maurizio Sarri, Chelsea fans have been witness to drastic changes in many aspects of the game. One of the biggest changes has been the replacement of Cesc Fabregas from the starting lineup by the new signing Jorginho. From having featured almost every game in the previous season, Fabregas has now been a part of only 3 out of 13.
The Spanish international believes, if the situation doesn't change, he will have to consider the other offers that he has been getting from the other European clubs. The 32-year-old midfielder has been with Chelsea since June 2014, when he signed a five-year contract.
With no contract extension signed yet and AC Milan rumoured to be interested in signing the midfielder, Cesc could be signing a pre-contract agreement as early as January.
"No, I haven't spoken to anyone. Obviously, in January, I can sign (a pre-contract agreement) with whoever I want, and probably this will attract many clubs."
"But so far, from what I can say right now, yes I will stay here until the end of the season.""I play at Stamford Bridge, I'm happy. That's the most important thing. But of course, every player wants to play more."

Fabregas is also open to playing at different positions if the team needs him to. And with Chelsea playing ten games in the month of December, Fabregas believes he will play more often this month. The midfielder opined that he knows the game he is going to be a part of, after having discussed it with Maurizio.
"I can give more in other positions. Maybe at the moment, he still doesn't see it. We have had a chat about it, and maybe in the future, it will start to happen. But at the moment it is what it is, and you just have to take it."

Chelsea play Fulham in the first of the three games of the week, including the one against Manchester City in the top of the table clash.
