It is like a final for us - Pedro on Manchester United clash
The former Barcelona star was shocked by the exclusion of Eden Hazard from the PFA Team of the Year.
As the Premier League season is nearing the stage of conclusion, there is a lot more at stake especially for the teams standing in the top six positions. Ahead of his side’s Old Trafford showdown against Manchester United, Chelsea star Pedro has deemed the fixture as ‘a final’ for top four race.
The Blues, who currently stand fourth in the table, are just one point ahead of fifth placed Arsenal and sixth placed United. A win on Sunday will see them retain their spot and go level on points with Tottenham Hotspur, who play West Ham United on Saturday.
“It is like a final for us. It is so important to reach the top four. We need to win in Manchester but we know it is difficult to play there.”
“They have very good players and are a very good team. Maybe they are not in a very good moment, or in very good form, but we need to fight together to win this game,” he added.
Moreover, it is not just the United that comes as a tricky clash for Chelsea as their final two games are against Watford and Leicester City respectively, who too have a European qualification at stake. Having drawn against a lowly Burnley side last week, the Blues are now required to win all their remaining fixtures, to be on the safer side.

“It was a very good opportunity for us to get these three points at home but we could only draw against Burnley,” said Pedro.
“It is a pity for us [Hudson-Odoi's injury]. He is a very good young player for us and is important for us. I can only hope that he gets well as soon as possible. Now we have to continue without him until the end in these five games,” he added.

I don't understand because he is a very big player here. This season has been a very big season for him.”
“He has scored a lot of goals and helped his teammates to score. I do not know why he is not in the PFA team after the season he has had.”
