We needed 15 points from seven games, now it is 15 from six- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
The Red Devils have 61 points and are only ahead of Chelsea by a single point, who have a game in hand.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United is going through a patchy form having lost three of their last four games. Astonishingly, they have lost twice against Wolverhampton Wanderers in this time, first in the FA Cup then in the Premier League with identical score lines 2-1.
Before the game, Ole had insisted that they have to amass atleast 15 points in the last seven games up but now with the loss to Wolves, they have to win atleast five of the six remaining games which include home fixtures against Chelsea and Manchester City.
"We needed 15 points from seven games, now it is 15 from six - we don't have room for many losses," said Solskjaer. It is harder than it was before, but we're a very good team, so it will be difficult for the teams who play against us."
The game had a good first half for the Red Devils and the manager insists they should have scored a few in the first quarter of the game.
"We should have been three up and created our own downfall," added Solskjaer, who suffered his first defeat since being handed the United job on a permanent basis.
He told BBC, "It was a very good performance until they got their second goal and but for their keeper, we would have won."

Manchester United's captain, Ashley Young received two yellow cards was sent off early in the second half. United played with a man less for more than 30 mins and conceded the winner. The second goal was an own-goal from Chris Smalling who was wearing the arm-band after Young was sent off.
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]"When you're on a yellow you're in danger if you go down," added Solskjaer. "He [Young] hit the ball first and then followed through - it's a yellow card and a bad decision from Ash but in the heat of the moment he thought he could reach the ball - he was a little bit too high," the coach said.
The next game for Manchester United is the UEFA Champions League quarter-final home tie against Barcelona with atleast a week between the two games giving Ole plenty of time to prepare.
