Reports: Raphaël Varane snubs Manchester United for Juventus, Zinedine Zidane denies his exit rumours

The French defender joined Los Blancos at the age of 18 years and has won 16 trophies including four UEFA Champions Leagues.
Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane is ready to snub Manchester United despite their rising interest in the current World Cup winner. The 25-year old Frenchman is, however, looking for a move to Juventus instead.
The Red Devils are highly interested in the Real Madrid defender and now they will face stern competition with Italian giants Juventus for his signature next season.
However, amid all the rumours of Varane being unsettled and leaving Bernebeu. Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has denied all the claims against his defender and has suggested that he is happy at Madrid.
"I can tell you he is very happy here, has been here eight years, has done phenomenally so far," Zidane said to Mirror.
"I don’t see him as people have said recently, he looks happy and committed in what he is doing."
It can be a strategy from the French tactician to fend off the interest on his defender by his comments against the issue. But Varane himself cleared all the doubts pointing that he is satisfied in the Spanish capital for now.
"To say that I am not happy at Real Madrid is not true", Varane stated.
"I’m at Real Madrid. The biggest club in the world. I’m constantly in a state of challenging myself because the requirement here is that of the highest level."
"I’m focused on my career. We had a tough time in the middle of the season where we had to fight. I’ve given my all in this shirt and I can be proud of that.I cannot control everything that’s said [in the media]. Many things aren’t right but I can’t say I’m unhappy in Madrid.
"We had a tough season, it’s the daily routine for players at the top.
"I’m discreet and the problem when you’re a quiet person is you hear many things but talk little about yourself."

The 25-year old is also a defensive mainstay in Didier Deschamps World Cup winning Les Blues side. With four Champions League title with Real Madrid along with two La Liga titles and also a Spanish Cup winner, Varane has with be one of the most decorated defenders of this era.
