If you feel pressure, stay at home and watch match on TV- Jose Mourinho warns under-performing players
A win for the hosts will surely bring an optimistic change in the environment after their goalless draw against Crystal Palace.
Manchester United's Jose Mourinho has warned his set of underperforming players to stay put at their home if they are not able to handle the pressure to perform at Old Trafford. This comes ahead of their crucial tie against Swiss champions Young Boys as United need to ensure a win to strengthen their chances for qualifying in the Round of 16.
A win for the hosts will surely bring an optimistic change in the environment around the Red Devils after their goalless draw against Crystal Palace. They are now 14 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City, having won just three games in the last nine home games in all competitions.
Nevertheless, Jose Mourinho is not of the opinion that his players find it tough to play at home and would rather prefer playing away, as Old Trafford brings more pressure in to the game.
"If you feel pressure, stay at home - and when I say home, I don't say stadium home, I say home home and watch on TV," he said.
"If you feel pressure to play matches at home where the people come to support... come on. I never felt pressure to play at home."
The United manager let down his frustrations with his team's underperformances, saying he wanted his players "not to be reactive but proactive".

Mourinho informed that Victor Lindelof will be out of the field for quite a while with an injury.
"(Lindelof) does the scan (Tuesday) but, by the experience of the medical department and the feelings of the player, he has a muscular problem and a muscular problem takes time," he added.
