India at Asian Games 2026: Wushu schedule, squad, & live streaming details

India have sent seven wushu fighters to the Aichi-Nagoya Games.

India are one of 46 teams participating in the upcoming Asian Games 2026, which will take place in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4. The country won a silver at the Hangzhou 2022 Games and will look to add to that tally at the 20th edition of the continental tournament.

Bimoljit Singh won the first medal in this sport, securing a bronze in the men’s 60 kg event at the 2006 Doha Games.

Naorem Roshibina Devi’s silver medal in the women’s sanda 60kg event marked India’s 10th Wushu medal at the Asian Games. So far, India have won 10 Wushu medals (two silvers and eight bronzes) at the tournament.

Roshibina Devi has been named in the Indian contingent for the upcoming Aichi-Nagoya Games as a late replacement for Divyanshi Choudhary. She will be joined by World Wushu Championships bronze medallist Vikrant Baliyan, who will compete in the men’s 75kg sanda event.
