Praveen Chitravel, the triple jumper from Tamil Nadu, has received confirmation for his entry in the Monaco Leg of the Diamond League scheduled for 21st July. While his participation has been approved, his name is yet to appear on the official entry list. However, it is expected that the list will be updated prior to the event to include him to ensure his well-deserved spot among the athletes competing in this prestigious event.
The 21-year-old triple jumper made news ealier this year at the Prueba de Confrontacion athletics meet in Havana by effortlessly surpassing the national record with a gold-winning jump of 17.37m. Not only did he secure the top position but this outstanding achievement also earned him a qualification for the World Championships in Budapest in August as he comfortably surpassed the qualification standard of 17.20m.
