The Diamond League 2023 moves to Zurich, Switzerland for its next meet. The Zurich Diamond League 2023, also known as the Weltklasse Zürich, will run from August 30 to September 1. World-class athletes from around the world will compete in the athletics meet.

Newly crowned world champion and the reigning Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra and Murali Sreeshankar will be the two Indian athletes who will compete in the Zurich Diamond League 2023.

With the World Championships gold now in his cabinet, Neeraj will aim to surpass the 90m mark in the Zurich Diamond League 2023 and top the men’s javelin competition having previously won both in Doha and Laussane.

Murali Sreeshankar, meanwhile, would want to bounce back from a mediocre campaign in the World Athletics Championships where he had a best attempt of 7.74m. He will also want to acquire valuable points to help him qualify for the Diamond League finals. Sreeshankar achieved a top three finish in the Paris Diamond League with a best jump of 8.09m.
