The Bislett Games in Oslo are set to take center stage as the first European stop in the 2024 Diamond League circuit. Oslo Diamond League 2024 will bring together a starry lineup of the world’s top track and field athletes competing across various disciplines.

In total, 14 events will offer Diamond League points in Oslo. For the men, these events include the 200m, 400m, 400m hurdles, 1500m, 5000m, pole vault, triple jump, shot put, and javelin throw. On the women’s side, the 200m, 400m, 1500m, 5000m, pole vault, and triple jump will be contested.

One event that is sure to draw plenty of attention is the 400m hurdles, where Norwegian star Karsten Warholm, a three-time world champion, and the Tokyo Olympic gold medalist will also look to do well. Warholm, who has his sights set on defending his Olympic title in Paris, will be using this event as an opportunity to build momentum.
Other global stars set to compete in Oslo include Ugandan Joshua Cheptegei, the current world record holder in the 5000m, Italian sprint ace Marcell Jacobs in the 100m, and Lithuanian Mykolas Alekna, who recently broke the 38-year-old discus world record.
The women’s 200m is shaping up to be another marquee event, with Jamaican world champion Shericka Jackson headlining a talented field that also includes Britain’s Daryll Neita and Ivory Coast’s Marie-Josee Ta Lou.
