The shuttler remains India’s most successful female Olympian.

PV Sindhu has already completed more than a decade on the BWF international circuit, having breached the top-20 in the women’s singles BWF rankings at the age of 17. She remains India’s most successful female Olympian and is only one of three athletes (Norman Pritchard and Sushil Kumar being the other two) to win two medals in individual events for the country.PV Sindhu has established herself as a force to reckon with.

Since the Paris 2024 Olympics, where she was eliminated in the Round of 16, she has made several attempts to get back into form and add to her title count. While she may not be at her absolute peak right now, she still shows flashes of her best. No matter who the opponent is and where she is playing, if the stakes are high, she often raises her game.
