Where and how to watch Korea Open 2023 in Singapore?
Loh Kean Yew and Yeo Jia Min are set to lead the squad
Korea Open 2023 is going to be the fifth Super 500 event of the BWF (Badminton World Federation) World Tour 2023. Since this season, a BWF calendar year now has nine Super 500 events. Korea Open begins on the 18th of July, 2023, and will see the finals being played on the 23rd of July, 2023.
For Singapore, Loh Kean Yew is the only seeded player participating in the event in Seoul. The fourth-seeded player in the men's singles category has had a difficult 2023 season, having failed to go past the second round in all but two tournaments he has played so far. His best performance in the season came in the India Open and the Malaysia Open when he reached the quarter-finals.
And so, he isn't anywhere to close to the top 16 of the Road to Paris rankings, which puts him in danger of missing out on the mega event. However, the window has been open for only three months now, and there is a lot of badminton yet to played and a lot of opportunities for Loh Kean Yew to get in the top 16.
