Title winners in Abu Dhabi Masters, Unnati Hooda, and Tanisha-Ashwini also made progress.

Two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu has reclaimed her position in the top 10 of the latest BWF women's singles rankings published on Tuesday (October 24). Sindhu's rise to the 10th spot is credited to her impressive performance, which included reaching the semifinals at the Denmark Open. Prior to this achievement, she had also reached the semifinals of the Arctic Open.

Sindhu's consecutive semifinal finishes have helped her regain lost momentum, and she aims to maintain her form at the ongoing French Open. Meanwhile, her compatriot, Aakarshi Kashyap, maintained her 38th spot. Kashyap delivered a clinical performance last week by defeating Germany's Yvonne Li, ranked 26th globally, in the opening round. However, she couldn't overcome Thailand's Supanida Katethong in the subsequent rounds.

In a significant development, the teenage sensation Unnati Hooda has ascended by 50 places to achieve a career-best ranking of 102. Unnati's remarkable performance, including her victory over Samiya Farooqi to clinch the Abu Dhabi Masters title, marks her second BWF World Tour 100 title.

In the men's singles section, HS Prannoy has retained his eighth place, although he is expected to be out of action for the next couple of weeks. In contrast, Lakshya Sen has slipped down by one spot to 17th, and Kidambi Srikanth has dropped two places to WR-22.

After withdrawing from the Denmark Open at the last moment, the men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty has retained their top spot. However, they will need to perform well at the French Open to maintain their ranking.

In the women's doubles category, the newly formed pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto has broken into the top 30s following their victory at the Abu Dhabi Masters. This victory marks their maiden BWF World Tour title and their second title overall. Meanwhile, the mixed doubles pair of Rohan Kapoor and Sikki Reddy has slipped to WR-40, remaining inactive since the Asian Games campaign.
